ATBC BUSINESS LUNCHEON: THE STATE OF THE ECONOMY

American Turkic Business Council along with SACC hosted a remarkable event on April 25, 2024, that left attendees buzzing with inspiration and knowledge. The ATBC Business Luncheon – “The State of the Economy,” proudly sponsored by JP Morgan Chase. This event provided a unique opportunity to explore the latest economic updates, including the interest rate environment, the labor market, consumer spending, and insights into the commercial and residential real estate market.

The event was led by Kulsoom Meghani, a commercial banker with extensive experience in the financial field. Meghani provided an overview of the current economic situation, highlighting the key indicators and trends shaping the economic landscape both locally and globally.

Following the economic update, a panel discussion was held with distinguished market experts. Fernando Vizcaino, Managing Director and Head of Investments, and Neha Smith, an accomplished Private Banker in Houston, joined Meghani to provide a bank-agnostic view of today’s economic climate from different perspectives within the financial sector. The three industry professionals shared their insights and perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing the economy in the current environment.

In addition to the economic updates and panel discussions, the monthly luncheon also provided an excellent opportunity to network and connect with other industry professionals.
